Life’s too short towash laundry!

Standard laundry is $22 per loosely filled 13-gallon bag, with a two-bag minimum ($44). A typical bag should weigh about 12 pounds or less. If a bag is overfilled, unusually heavy, or contains bulky items, we will contact you about the additional price and obtain your approval before proceeding. Pickup, washing, drying, folding and return delivery are included in the standard bag price.

A Load Less normally selects the detergents and laundry products used. Please tell us before pickup about fragrance sensitivity, allergies, skin sensitivities, or a preference for fragrance-free detergent. We will discuss available options and any special handling before accepting the order. Fragrance-free does not mean allergen-free. Laundry equipment and handling areas may previously have come into contact with scented detergents, fabric softeners, bleach, or other laundry products. We cannot guarantee that items will be free of fragrance residue, allergens, or cross-contact. If you have a severe allergy or medically necessary washing protocol, contact us before booking so we can determine whether we can safely accommodate it. We may decline an order when we cannot meet a required care protocol. Nothing in this policy waives liability for our own negligence or rights that cannot legally be waived.

Tell us before washing about delicates, cold-water-only items, air-dry-only garments, and other care instructions. Check garment care labels and empty all pockets. We do not accept dry-clean-only items, leather or suede, specialty-care items we cannot safely process, items contaminated with bodily fluids, gasoline, grease, chemicals or other hazardous substances, pest-infested items, or extremely soiled items that present a health or equipment risk. We may decline unsafe items and contact you to arrange their return.

Comforters and large blankets are priced separately: twin comforters $15, full/queen $20, king $25, and large/bulky blankets generally $15–$25, depending on size and care needs. Please disclose bulky items before pickup so we can confirm pricing and handling.

Pickup bookings require at least 24 hours' notice. Service is Monday through Saturday, 9 AM–6 PM Central; Sunday is closed. Customers select an eligible route day rather than an exact pickup time. We will contact you with an estimated arrival time and may provide a two-hour arrival window when confirming your order. Please have your laundry ready in the agreed bag at the designated location. The first missed pickup has no fee; repeated missed pickups may incur a $10 fee, disclosed before a new booking is confirmed.

Payment is due at pickup or before delivery, as agreed when your order is confirmed. Recurring orders may require payment before processing. We will request your approval before processing additional weight, bulky items, or other extra charges. If you do not approve an added charge, we will discuss alternatives or return the affected items unprocessed.

Please disclose fragile or already-damaged items. Normal laundering can reveal or worsen existing wear, including loose buttons, weak seams, holes, broken zippers, fading, shrinkage, and dye transfer. A Load Less is not responsible for damage caused solely by pre-existing defects, inaccurate care labels, or undisclosed care requirements; concerns involving our failure to use reasonable care will be reviewed individually. We cannot guarantee that every loose sock will find its match. Identifiable unmatched items are held for up to 30 days and returned with a later order when possible. Please contact us promptly if something is missing or damaged so we can investigate. Nothing here excludes liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
